As we get ready to say goodbye to 2010, take a minute to reflect on all the amazing things that have happened to you this year! Think and be thankful for everything that you have been able to get accomplished. This year has definetly come with some ups and downs, but you made it through and you should be proud. Write down a list of blessings and accomplishments! I bet you will be overwhelmed with gratitude.
2011 is coming like an express train, so pull out your pen and paper and start preparing. Write down 3 goals that you want to get accomplished over the next year, Make the goals realistic, but challenge yourself! Don't just say I want to get good grades...say you want to make all A's. You may have had some rough years in school and for some reason you have lost hope that getting straight A's is even possible. I want you to look at things differently in 2011. Realize that you start every semester off with an A in every subject your job is to maintain it! Sounds a whole lot easier to keep an A than to have to work up to it...right?
Make this the year you get rid of all of the negativity, don't just say I am going to work on my attitude. Think about what aspects of your attitude you truly want to change. Think about all of the people that you call your friends today...are those people you plan on keeping around next year. Do they bring out the best in you?
2011 is the year for you to demand more! All of you are beautiful young ladies who truly rock...take the limits off and raise your bar for excellence. There are no limits to what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it!
Love you all,
Tracey Hawkins Sydnor
