Tracey Hawkins-Sydnor was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from Lincoln University, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in English (Creative Writing), she went on to become an officer in United States Army and earn a Master’s degree in Management from Troy State University. After having served five years and achieving the rank of Captain, Tracey decided to leave the military and purse a career in the civilian sector.

This path led her to become a pharmaceutical sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. While excelling in this path, Tracey decided to return to her true passion; Human Resources and is now the Director of Human Resources for a large entertainment company.

Tracey Sydnor is also the CEO of the publishing entity Lexi Press. Tracey took her passion for youth and gift for creative writing to author the book 365 Girl. 365 Girl is an immediate call to action on raising the self-esteem and re-enforcing Christian values in girls ages 10-17. The book is meant to challenge the mindset and decision making process of young ladies, so they make informed and positive life choices.

Her down to earth approach and contagious energy make her extremely effective in working with and empowering young ladies.

Tracey has a husband and four year old daughter and has maintained an active ministry life working with youth departments and music ministries from Virginia to California over the past ten years.
